A lot of people who confidently use the word phallic have never heard it's counterpart, yonic. Maybe you were lucky and took an art history class from a highly literate professor who threw out the word when you were discussing the art of Georgia O'Keefe. Maybe not. I ran across it in a book of obscure words about ten years ago. Turns out it is a nice word to keep in your vocabulary vault. So there will also be yonic foods. My plan was Wine Drunk Peaches and Plums (a recipe from The Martha) but I am having trouble finding a single freaking peach in Lincoln. I am also doing a fresh mango dish (again courtesy of The Martha). My friend Tara has volunteered to make sushi. I will go on one last excursion for peaches. Wish me luck.
