First of all, sorry for the mini-MIA act. I was caught up in a whirlwind of spontaneous birthday celebrations for friends and my (duh-duh-duh) 20th year high school reunion. I rethought my approach for the Teacher Party. There have been scheduling conflicts which will likely kicked this to a lunch party. I have a collection of old lunchboxes so the teacher brunch has turned into a teacher lunch complete with dorky old lunchboxes from our formative years. The centerpiece:
excellent idea! i love the hong kong phooey thermos - if i was close by, i'd loan you my almost mint condition snoopy lunch box - and i think i have a star wars thermos as well. i had an excellent disco lunch box when i was in 2nd grade, but some adult hi-jacked it :( anyways, wonderful idea to use the lunch boxes and thermosie (that's my plural) for center pieces! you're so stinkin' creative :)
