Here is my brother-in-law Chris with his daughter, Makenna. Chris is turning 30 this week. My sister has asked me to help throw a party for him. Chris is a very nice man. He is one of those people who is very, very hard to buy gifts for. So I am a bit daunted by throwing an entire party for him. Chris loves John Deere and our plan is to throw him a family friendly party in the garage and yard. This was not a party I had prepped beforehand and I am still in the active brainstorming phase. My sister is very creative and has several ideas. We have already done some shopping and she has purchased tableware in the traditional green and yellow of John Deere. I will be making the cake and the food will be potlucked (yes, I did just make that into a verb). I would be open to any ideas/suggestions that people might have. I am a bit out of my comfort zone but very excited for the challenge.
