I lobbied for a hay rack ride at Chris's party but the offer was shot down for some really practical reason like tractors are needed in the field right now. As I understand it, Chris leaving the field to attend his 30th birthday party is a pretty big deal. So no hay rack ride for me---I mean Chris. I did have a hay rack ride for the boys' 3rd birthday. We had an outdoor party with songs around a campfire and camping. It was a really great party. Too bad my boys were too young remember it. By the way, even though it was 2004, I am pretty sure there was no excuse for my haircut. I am the one at the back of the rack with the two blond boys on my lap.
