S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night

I remember staying up late in fourth grade to watch Eddie Murphy do "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood" on Saturday Night Live. I did not understand most of what I was watching but man did I love it. I don't think that there is any other show that I have had this long of a relationship with and I love that it is suddenly relevant again. Thank you Tina Fey for your spot on Sarah Palin impersonation. When I made up my original roster of parties The SNL party was not on it. But there also hadn't been a--can you say grassroots Facebook movement or is that an oxymoron? And it seems that if you are going to do a SNL party you have to go all out. People are dressing up. This is not something I usually condone or submit too. But Saturday Night Live wakes the sleeping speech geek in me who is down with anything. I purchased my Mary Catherine Gallagher outfit at Goodwill for $3.00. I need to do some slight alterations to the skirt and then----SUPERSTAR!
