Iconic SNL Foods

Of all of the foods associated with Saturday Night Live Pete Schweddy Balls are probably the most widely known.  Ron and I had quite the argument over if the balls were sweet (my vote) or savory (his vote) and did related research (okay we just watched the skit a few times).  Watch the video and let me know who you think is right.
So there will be Schweddy Balls.  I was thinking of doing cake balls where you just bake a cake mix as directed on the package, mix it with an 8oz package of cream cheese, shape it into balls and then you can dip it in candy coating or almond bark.  I also like to do rum balls as they are fun and simple for a party.  I make a batch of brownies and then mix it with enough rum to form it into balls.  You can roll rum balls in powdered sugar, nuts, or sprinkles.
The second most common food I heard suggested was Colon Blow.  The late and very great Phil Hartman's breakfast cereal pitch.  So how do you make this into a party food?  And how do you make it so people will not be embarrassed to try it at the party?  I am thinking Colon Blow Bars.  Like Rice Krispie Bars only made out of some wheaty/fibery cereal.
Ron made mango ice milk to honor Chris Kattan's sassy dancer, Mango.  Same ice milk recipe as last week only we mashed up one ripe mango in it versus steeping lavender.
Finally, I think we will go old school with cheeseburger sliders (and also meat-free cheese and tomato slider) as a nod to John Belushi's Samurai Chef.  I will of course serve each of these skewered with a plastic sword.
