Cicely's 10th birthday

Sigmund (named by my sister Amanda)strikes again. The Happy Birthday Deer has been up since my birthday and I must admit I will be sad to take him down next weekend. Cicely is having a spa slumber party this year. The tradition in our household is to have a big friends party one year and then a family party the next year. Cicely had a large party last year, but when your mother is trying to throw 52 parties in 52 weeks sometimes the numbers work out to your advantage. She invited four of her classmates.

The colors for the party are generally bright pink and bright green, her favorites. The ceiling is covered with 27 butterflies made out of clothespins, wired ribbons, and a healthy dose of glitter. They are all different but are made from ribbons in the colored palate.

All of the girls will get a "spa" take away bag with eye pillows filled with flax seed and lavender. The girls' names are embroidered on them. They are also getting lavender sleep spray (distilled water and lavender essential oil), foot scrub (I cheated, it is an over the counter peppermint), and an emery board.
