Today was the "family" birthday party for my boys. When I was growing up I tolerated the "family" party while patiently holding out for the "friends" party. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a cousin helped celebrate the day. The boys were troopers and made out like tiny little bandits. Ron made fresh pasta sauce from the Roma tomatoes, oregano, and basil from our garden.
The dining room ready to go. We tied the balloons in clusters of threes and used curling ribbon to attach them to the hooks.
Eli chose a white cake (why isn't it called vanilla?) and Zane wanted marbled.
